Shunya Jagrun is a non for profit organization which has been working 'with' the local tribal community since 2009 to bring about sustainable CHANGE.
The idea is to build a platform wherein exchange of innovative ideas would lead to solving socio-economic problem of the area without disturbing the pristine culture & environment.
NGO
. . .
Our experiments
From conducting detailed survey of 5 villages to training tribal youths with Khadi and Village Industry Commission (KVIC).
From starting a food stall to producing candles in association with various local clubs and exhibiting at fancy stores.
From organizing periodic health camps, starting an evening school for the elderly to organic rice farming.
BUT still we have to hit a jack pot, which would change their lives forever.
Still there is a lot more to be experimented & done for there is potential and possibility that is to be explored.
Biggest experiment
Our rice cultivating tribals community; who has been part of our NGO turned out to be the biggest and only force behind building 130, awata farm stay.
The farmers turned themselves into mason, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, gardeners and everything else that was needed to create an experience for you. Not a single expertise was hired from the city.
