Immersive Pottery Workshops
Dive into beginner friendly, hands on pottery making sessions under the guidance of an experienced Ceramic Artist and Pottery Teacher.
Allow yourself to be inspired by the beauty around you and let your imagination flow. Experience the meditative, therapeutic effects of working with clay. Mould, sculpt, paint, carve. Enjoy the process of creating art from mud.
Bask in the warm bonfire on rainy nights. Cook and break bread together with fellow participants. Take back memories and masterpieces to last a lifetime.
About the space
Built by Pankaj and Amruta, along with the locals, 130 Awata has comfortably and elegantly designed cottages that offer an earthy experience with modern amenities. Fresh home cooked meals are served, made from local produce.
About the Mentor
Your pottery instructor will be Garima Sharma, who is a painter, weaver and potter. Her practice is motivated by experiencing and expressing the bond between humans and nature, particularly animals.

Retreat Pricing All prices are per person, inclusive of 4 D 3 N stay, all meals including high tea, 5 pottery sessions inclusive of all materials and tools, take your clay pieces home. Glazing and firing will be charged at Rs 500 a piece. Drying, glazing and firing of pieces takes 5-6 weeks. Delivery will be charged on actuals from Mumbai.
